Irony could not possibly be better defined than by us not writing a blog post in 2 years despite being the busiest we have ever been. Or perhaps there is no irony whatsoever. The fact is we have been hard at work for quite some time now and in the process have simply not had time to catch up properly with our diary. In the interest of avoiding a rambling essay detailing every event of the past 20 months or so, viagra 40mg I humbly present to you an abridged version of our semi-recent goings-on:

We wrote and started recording our first full-length album. Our beloved drummer Stephan decided to say “peace, buy Canada” and took up shop in Berlin working for Ableton. We cried about it. Shortly afterwards we met up with Stephan in London and did our first tour of the UK. It was an unreal experience and we met some of the best people ever. We returned to Canada sans percussion and took our usual sweet time finishing the record, naming it Sunshine.

That brings us to the present.

Yesterday we premiered the first single from Sunshine, a jangly little number called “All The Way”, via Prog Magazine in the UK (link). We are a couple weeks away from embarking on our second tour of the UK, complete with a stop at the Bloodstock Open Air festival. Most importantly, though, we are only 2 months away from finally releasing the record we have poured so much of our time into this past year. Sunshine has been an absolute thrill to create; it is a personal, poetic, beautiful record with a depth of sound we had never been able to capture properly with our previous recordings (special thanks to Eric “Sillypuss” Svilpis for making this happen). We are so proud of this record and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we have enjoyed crafting it.

Sunshine will be released September 11, 2015. You can pre-order it today on our Bandcamp page, or perhaps you’ll want to pre-order a copy on iTunes starting August 14. The horizon never ends.
